Indespensible Women’s Empowerment Tools

by Wild Angel

Whenever you have ever felt undervalued at work as a woman, you shouldn’t. Women are getting more and more prominent in the workplace and even have unique skills that will help them succeed even in a male-dominated profession. Recognizing the native self empowering techniques for women, that women already own, is extremely strong.

Women posses inborn talents, but can feel as if those skills are not relevant to the work environment. This is a misperception. It is accurate that women, the same as men, must continue to become masters of functional and technical work skills in order to succeed, but in terms of climbing the corporate ladder, they have unique talents that corporations  reward. Simply by harnessing these talents, women can allow themselves to have anything and everything they desire.

Let’s start with communication, a ability that is crucialtalentsessential to success. Women are natural communicators. I’m sure that you’ve seen how a mother “just knows”  how crucial it is to communicate and interrelate with her children, by using suitable language and sentence-structure that a kid can understand. This identical ability, adjusted slightly, works fantastically  in a work environment. For example, a woman that is in charge of other  coworkers must know how to communicate with every person personally in a way that each person can feel comfortable with.

Helen Fisher, the author of The First Sex: The Natural Talents of Women and How They Are Changing the World, makes reference to this as a flair for verbal communication. Fisher illustrates the increasing need for the aptitude to converse with written and spoken words. She says, “At talking, women have the edge.” Fisher describes how the female gender, even at very young ages “excel at… verbal fluency – rapidly finding appropriate words, phrases or sentences.” Fisher continues “Women are, on average, more articulate at saying what they say.” Ladies, accepting this knowledge and putting trust in their God given language ability in communication will discover their confidence growing.

As for training or coaching, women also have an advantage. The nurturing characteristics that come more easily to women make it viable for women to help kids learn and develop. The correct blend of encouragement, discipline, autonomy and boundaries will create a kid whose self-assurance and abilities are very grown up and continue to surpass that of other kids. When this sort of circumstance is applied to the business world, a woman should do the similarly for employees.

Once more, Helen Fisher’s studies as laid out in The First Sex claim, “Women are, on average, more interested in cooperation, harmony, and connections – a network of support.” She further writes, “Women characteristically believe everyone can succeed in business; they take a win-win attitude in the office world.”

Nearly all women are also skilled at multi-tasking or multi-focusing. organizing people, information, deadlines and all the needed resources becomes necessary to the success of the teams’ results.

Helen Fisher references people’s progress, even back to ancient times, a woman had to bring up helpless and long-dependent offspring under highly hazardous conditions making apparent the need for multitasking even back then. I love her description: “In order to rear helpless infants, ancestral mothers needed to do a lot of things at the same time. Watch for snakes. Listen for thunder. Taste for poison. Rock the sleepy. Distract the cranky. Instruct the curious. Soothe the fearful. Inspire the tardy. Feed the hungry. Mothers had to do countless daily chores while they stoked the fire, cooked the food and talked to friends.”

For sure, not every woman has the ability to mother and not all women are the identical, but every woman has the capability to identify the abilities they have and use them for individual and work-based empowerment. Women should be just as proficient at business leadership as men. If discovering what makes you a successful woman is interesting to you, make a list of all your personal attributes – those inate abilities and empower yourself to elevate to new heights of triumph.
